A ploughman’s for dinner!

wedding invite designs

I love weddings, so I was really excited to get these lovely commissions to design some wedding invitations.
Charlotte was a lovely client and I had a lot of fun designing the invites with her, here are the final designs for the daytime invitations and insert.

Here is another wedding invite commission I did for a good friend in December.
She wanted something a bit less formal that could be sent in a postcard format.

Happy belated New Year!

So for a little update since I was here last. Given it’s the New Year I have decided to embrace the social network world further and start a Katy Hudson Illustration facebook page, you can like me here.

Since my last post I have been busy with my agents over at Bright working on my Children’s publishing portfolio, here’s a portfolio piece I did below.

bear_and_rabbit-raft3There have been a lot of bear drawings!
I’ve also been working on my Art Licensing portfolio to be presented at the NEC in February, I’m not sure how much I can show, so here’s some sneaky shots.

Circus theme cards

Here’s something different I’ve been working on recently, it’s for my Art Licensing portfolio with Bright.
Inspired by the circus these are some performers I’ve created to hopefully be used in a greeting card range.

Happy Friday everyone!

Feeling guilty from lack of blogging, so here’s a little one, from a recent project that didn’t go ahead.

More mural pictures

So I’m all moved into my new home in London now. However it’s taken me a while to download some pictures from my last two school murals I completed last week.

This one was fun- just a little bit high!

This was another awkward corner that didn’t really get used for displays so they wanted a tower/turret that they could use as a prompt for the children’s story projects.

And finally some more detail shots of the diner/kitchen area
